Geneticist

Ever since I finished my review article on Mongolian genetics in December, I spent almost all of my time here:
80% of the time I was the only person here. So far I've analyzed over 600 DNA samples (including my own) by an array of techniques that I learned over the past year. It's pretty amazing to know that I, at 22, will be contributing to a body of genetics knowledge that has existed for more than 60 years. It's kind of invigorating. During weeks like these, I feel like I've found my calling. I still like to ride my bike though.
